Schwalbach/Ts. – June 22, 2022 Samsung today unveiled the short film Make Stranger Nights Epic, a tribute to the popular Netflix series Stranger Things. In the new video, the night features of the Galaxy S22 Ultra are impressively staged. The short, part of Netflix’s long-term partnership, is available now on Samsung’s social media channels, in time for the start of Stranger Things Season 2 Part 2.

In the Stranger Things-inspired short, Samsung showcases the Galaxy S22 Ultra’s impressive nightography features. In Season 4 of Stranger Things, the night opens the door to an exciting new world. The Samsung Epos with the Galaxy S22 Ultra picks up on this topic and shows how night photography technology can be used to capture epic night shots.

Turn the night into your epic

In Make Stranger Nights Epic, a young girl puts her Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra in her pocket and rides her bike to a Stranger Things 4 watch party at her friend’s house. While driving, her smartphone’s video function accidentally turns on and records everything that happens behind her – upside down. All scenes shot vertically were filmed with the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra1.

The short film makes the most of the Galaxy S22 Ultra’s powerful night camera capabilities. Among other things, the Galaxy S22 Ultra is equipped with a 108MP main camera and a large 2.4µm pixel sensor that works with AI. Large pixels capture plenty of light and image data for brilliant, crisp video recordings day or night.

A galaxy of fascinating content

Samsung and Netflix have worked together for a long time and together they have developed successful campaigns for some of the streaming platform’s most popular series. For example, an integrated campaign for the launch of the second season of “Emily in Paris” in January 2022. Emily fans could, among other things, take on the main role in their own animated poster with “flip the script” with l Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G help.

Samsung and Netflix also teamed up to produce a Bridgerton short showcasing the Galaxy S22 series at February’s Unpacked event. In the three-minute skit, the inventors try to catch the eye of Queen Charlotte of Bridgerton. Inventor Lord Tristar finally has the success he expected with his visionary creation – a huge neoclassical painting of the Galaxy S22/S22+, which will take 209 years to complete.

Samsung and Netflix will continue this successful partnership with powerful new content.
